Well my prayers were answered... I was NOT SICK on New Year's Eve! I woke up feeling great, saw AVATAR with my family {which I highly recommend} and then drove down with Matthew to beautiful San Diego. We had a romantic little Italian dinner and then met up with his brother for the countdown. I had my first New Year's kiss and it was pretty special! Honestly I think New Year's Eve is hyped up way too much and it can end up being a major let down. But if you're with friends/family/loved ones it's totally worth it!
And now we're in 2010! I have such a good feeling about this year. Hopefully it includes getting a puppy, a full-time job, learning how to play my guitar {finally!}, finishing up that surf lesson I started in Hawaii and many more fun things!
Sounds like a fun NYE! I agree about all the hype, I would have preferred to stay home this past year :)

ReplyDeleteAbout your comment on my blog: Getting my wisdom teeth removed wasn't as bad as I thought. I have all four removed that day. I did go home and get sick... my the doctor said only 1% upchuck afterwards though. I took 3 advil every 8 or so hours. I didn't even go on pain-killers, which I highly recommend doing. People can get addicted to them very easily. Then that night, I asked my mom to go shopping. She said no, of course. but I then she let me at least go to the library.
I was totally fine. Just try to sleep it off and not talk very much. Get ice cream and make mashed potatoes.

ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a wonderful New Years. Boyfriend and I were in a car driving back from San Francisco, it was still fun though .. We had our own little party and blared some Kelly Clarkson really really loud!!
