All I want to do right now is go shopping! The weather is so nice and I just want to wear these pretty things! I gave shopping up for Lent and it's been SO hard but I'm in the final week. It's been difficult but it was definitely a good thing for my wallet!
This weekend came and went too quickly. And nothing exciting happened! Saturday was all about doing taxes, which is never fun and Sunday I worked on these essays for grad school, also not fun. I'm excited though because this week is kind of short for me. It's spring break for my elementary school so Tuesday and Thursday are off! And then my last day working at the law firm is Wednesday. It's been a long time coming and while I'm sad to leave some of the people I know it's for the best. I have plans for lots of baking towards the end of the week because it's my brother's 21st birthday on Thursday and then Easter over the weekend. Sweets were another thing I gave up {almost impossible!} so I'm ready to satisfy my sweet tooth !
How was your weekend?
xox

I'm so impressed that you gave up shopping for Lent! That's a great idea that I'll have to keep in mind for next year. I gave up chips this year, which has been really good for me - I'm thinking about continuing on a no-chip diet even after Lent is over!
ReplyDeletei'm always guilty of anthro lust. what can you do though??
ReplyDeleteand girl, you picked some really hard things to give up for lent! shopping AND sweets?? good thing you have so much to look forward to this weekend :)
Oh. My. Gosh. I am DROOLING over the blouse in the top right. It's GORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteYou're killing me Mara, you really are.
I'm guilty of lusting as well!!! I didn't give up shopping for lent...but I did give it up to save money...plus with all the working out im doing it would be silly to buy clothes Ill be too small for soon!!! (which makes me uber happy!) 4 days in a row at the gym and i'm feeling amazing!!!
ReplyDeletemmmm sweets. I might have to make a berry tart for easter! Theres a multi berry torte made with tofu that we made for spencers moms birthday last year that was ridiculously amazing and fresh...hmmm maybe we'll have to make that!!!
Anthro is by far my favorite place!! I made a stop on Thursday, and had no intention of buying anything and ended up leaving with a pair of jeans, a frilly Spring top and a dress with pockets, this seems to happen every time I go in there. Everything about Anthro makes my heart swoon. Also, you won the giveaway over at my blog... email me so I can get you your goodies!! XO
ReplyDeleteI'm always lusting after Anthro, and I don't think I'll ever be able to afford any of it :( Good luck with grad school apps--what are you studying?
ReplyDeleteI could live in Anthro, literally, I might get a bit dizzy with all the candles but I would survive for sure. Love all your choices!
