On Saturday Matthew and I went down to San Diego to see his new nephew! His sister Melissa gave birth to the most precious little boy on August 10th. His name is Jacob Christian.
Babies are so sweet and darling. I haven't held a newborn in sooo long. I'm thinking years, as in I was under 10. I wasn't worried because if I did it then I knew I could do it now. Nevertheless, as soon as Melissa handed him to me I'll admit I got a little nervous. Of course everything was fine, there were just a few nerves when I realized how tiny and delicate he was! I'm definitely looking forward to being a mom one day although that's far far away.

What an exciting time for Matthew and his family and you! :)
ReplyDeleteSimply adorable and you are so right...babies are so sweet and darling and have a way of spreading warmth and happiness! :)
Glad you all had a wonderful time!

HE IS SO SWEET! I love his hair! Makes him look older and wiser than 2 weeks, haha. :) I loooooove babies, and babysit a lot so I get to hold newborns frequently. There is nothing like it--they are so teeny and vulnerable and precious! And the newborn smell is to die for. :) Congrats on the new nephew!!
ReplyDeleteOh ! Adorable !

He is really lovely, especially in the last picture! Every time there's a newborn in my family, when I go to see him/her I get a little nervous too...so I don't usually hold them, I'm too afraid I'd let them fall -__-'
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Ah so precious... these pics definitely bring the baby fever out of me! :)so so cute! congrats to the whole family!
