While Matthew and I were in San Francisco we went to Sausalito for the afternoon. Sausalito is such a cute little town across the Golden Gate Bridge. It was a cloudy and overcast day but it was beautiful seeing San Francisco right across the water. I wore these adorable shorts from Style by Marina that have these awesome side pockets that I could hide things in!

How was your weekend? It's slightly sad to say and admit but 90% of mine was spent in front of a computer screen..and I wasn't blogging {ugh}!! Searching for an affordable venue for next year has been soo time consuming..and frustrating! But more about on Wednesday. Hopefully things will be making more sense by then. Crossing my fingers.

P.S. Does anyone understand the new editor on Blogger? I'm having the hardest time adjusting my pictures. The Extra Large is too big and the Large is too small. eek any advice/tips would be SO appreciated!

ReplyDeleteOkay, here's what I do with pictures. First I choose the "Extra Large" option, then I go into html mode and resize it down to 540 (width). I believe your layout supports pics up to this width, as mine does, so that should work.
Yeah you have to go into html. PAIN!!!!

ReplyDeleteWe am having our wedding on a Sunday. We didn't choose a Sunday because it is cheaper, but it turns out Sunday's are cheaper! In Australia (I'm not sure about elsewhere), most venues are half the price of a Saturday booking. We landed ourselves a great bargain because the restaurant we're having our reception at isn't open on a Sunday normally, so they don't have a price to reflect what they would normally make that day. Might be something worth looking into? Good luck!

ReplyDeleteAs for advice - I normally resize my pictures to the size I want before I upload them to photobucket, then just click 'original size' on blogger! A little more complicated but always works :)

Sausalito is one of the best places I've been to. First would be Santorini, next would be Tahoe. Sausalito is climbing the charts :)

When you find an easy way to explain the new editor please share ... one of the main reasons why I haven't changed my photo settings is because the large photo setting is just too big. Any who ... love these photos and your outfit. Sausalito is such a cute town ... and just a bit down the way is one of my favorite hikes. Hugs my friend!! Oh and don't you worry the right venue will come along ... Marc and I actually switched venues two months in and everything worked out!!! XO

sausalito is such a cute town. i like spending all day there eating and going in cute shops. also, i love you outfit (like always).
ReplyDeletei don't really mess with blogger's sizing because it isn't always the same (and i'm so anal, i MUST have all pictures the same width). so i adjust them all to the width i want in photoshop, then upload them to my own server and use the url of each picture when i add them to my blog, that way they won't be resized.

I think I do the medium size pictures on blogger. I definitely have had a hard time with the pictures not working well in the new editor, but it's nice to upload all of them at once. You know, I kind of love those shorts. I don't know if I would wear them, but I'm glad that you have them. They kind of remind me of an anthropologist's pants of way back when.
