It's finally getting to be short weather! These tweed shorts are favorites of mine but I never got a chance to wear them this past Fall. Since Fall and Spring are basically the same season, but reversed, I figured it still might be acceptable to wear them. We're still transitioning into warmer weather so shorts in a more Winter fabric are ok by me.
I hope you all had a great weekend! I relaxed at my parent's house, baked a chocolate tart, saw friends, and started a new TV show {The Killing}. I'm excited for this week because it's my last one at work before Matthew and I go on vacation! Matthew surprised me on our dating anniversary with a surprise- to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary in Hawaii!! Best gift ever! Gosh, I seriously can not believe that it's almost been a year since we got married! It's been so fun and wonderful but the time has really flown by. I can't wait to celebrate our one year by relaxing and exploring the island of Maui! I think it's just what we need :)

I completely agree that tweed can still work for spring. I wore my tweed jacket the other day with cuffed black shorts and a tee & it seemed totally appropriate! :) Super-cute look on you here!!
