Leaving Hawaii was tough but coming back to Ginger and our sweet little home made me happy!
I thought I'd share some photos of some of my favorite things in our apartment.

This heart dish from Lisa Leonard is absolutely perfect for holding my rings. I picked out the words "truly madly deeply" because isn't that what true love is all about?

My couch is my favorite place for lounging with a colorful throw and nice book. This fun green blanket is from Novica.

I made this menu board for our wedding last year and didn't have the heart to throw it away. It was resting in a corner for awhile and then one day I came home and Matthew had propped it against a cart in our kitchen. So cute and I think it works for now!

Coffee table books! I love my cute little elephant too! It's actually another treasure from Novica, which is one of the coolest online home and gift sites. It's a fair trade website that works with National Geographic to sell hand-crafted pieces from artisans all around the world. This elephant is from India and the green throw above is from the Andes. I'm telling you guys where I got them, but really I just let house guests assume we're huge world travelers hehe just kidding :)

I had been looking for blue lamps for our bedside tables but when I couldn't find any I decided to make my own.
They're a perfect soothing shade of blue!
What are some of your favorite places in your home? I'd love to hear!

That's so cool how you incorporated your menu board into your decor! It's funny cause I did that with a chalkboard I had written my kids schedule on. I didn't have the heart to erase it once they got older, so I kept it and it's propped up in our breakfast nook area. I was going to feature it somehow in one of my posts, and your post gave me a way to do that! Thanks again, you are so inspiring!
