There's something so fun about wearing a mix of dressy and casual pieces. Maybe because it's a little cheeky. It's like saying, "Hey! I'm dressed up and dressed down!" I love this beautiful brocade skirt but I paired it with an everyday plain striped tee and a pair of oxfords for a casual day out. It's perfect for the times you don't want to look out of place.

I love short weeks, don't you? Having a Monday off was much needed, and the shorter work week was amazing. It really flew by. Today is my Mom's birthday and I can't wait to celebrate over a dinner at Mozza! It's a special birthday for the most amazing and wonderful woman I know. I love you so much Mommy!

Love this! Just this morning Glamour online wrote about using stripes as a neutral. I totally think they would have used these photos as their examples. Looks great and I love the colors.
