I usually spend one day a week downtown for work but I really don't explore the area that much. I think it's because I don't want to fight the insane amount of traffic to get there if I have the choice. Going through downtown is pure traffic madness. Matthew and I stayed downtown on Friday night though so we spend Saturday there as well. It's funny how it kind of clears out on the weekends. Minus a few spots the city center felt virtually empty. I loved walking around, admiring the beautiful architecture {that my beach city lacks}, and pretending I live in a gorgeous loft in the middle of a big city like New York or Chicago!
