This skirt is absolutely beautiful and I know
it will be a staple in my wardrobe for years to come. I fell in love with the
longer length, the stripes, and pleating. Gorgeous! What makes me love it even
more is that it’s handmade by an indie designer Corilynn. She has some absolutely

Today is technically my Friday since I worked
Sunday and also because tomorrow is my birthday and I’m taking the day off. I’m
one of those people who hates to
work on their birthday. I just feel like it’s the one day of the year that
should totally be yours. You should celebrate your life by doing something fun,
spontaneous, or even relaxing. Tomorrow is going to be a mixture of all three. The
beach is involved, lunch at my favorite sushi place, a party with friends, and Matthew
has some other surprises planed {he’s taking the day off too!}. I’m so excited!

I'm totally digging the chevron one she has up as well. Might just go find some striped fabric and make one of these over the weekend. I'm only 5'2" so finding a skirt that hits the right length is impossible to find. DIY for me :) Thanks for the inspiration! Love the pleats too!
