I've gotten some emails about my makeup routine so I thought I'd share some of my essentials here.
1. Lancôme Lipstick in Sweet Embrace {my favorite pink} buy
2. Anastasia Eyebrow Kit in Brunette {to fill in my brows} buy
3. Lancôme Le Crayon Khôl Eyeliner in Black {goes on easily and lasts all day} buy
4. Jane Iredale Powder in Warm Sienna {mineral pressed poweder + SPF} buy
5. Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet #20 {I mix this with my moisurizer} buy
6. Lancôme Lipstick in Cherries Jubilee {my favorite red. sadly discontinued but this is a similar one}
7. Clinique Eyeshadow in Beige Shimmer {A subtle color with soft shimmer. Perfect during the summer} buy
8. Nars Bronzer in Laguna {I've tried other ones and keep going back to this one} buy
9. Clinique Blush Duo in New Clover & Honey Blush {Use the lighter color most of the time, but sometimes a mix of both} buy
10. Lancôme Dolllashes Mascara in Black {new in my rotation but I'm loving it!} buy
11. Elf Liquid Eyeliner in Black {$1 at Target. Enough said.} buy
12. Revlon Eyelash Curler {a daily must since my eyelashes don't have a natural curl} buy

ReplyDeleteI use Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. it is my go-to item for summer because it makes your foundation go on so much smoother and stay on longer. I also LOVE laura mercier lipsticks. They have some great, light, wear all day shades that i'm just obsessed with.

This is great! You always look super lovely so thanks for sharing! I may have to try some of these. I'm mostly a MAC girl but I'm becoming pretty disillusioned with them since they seem to always discontinue my fave products!

I love when others share their Make Up secrets! Thanks for posting this. My all time favorite lipstick is Revlon Fire & Ice. Plus its cheap so whenever I run out I can always buy more and not feel guilty.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite product is the Kat Von D Tattoo liner in Trooper. As much as I don't like her, that's the best liquid eyeliner pen I've ever used! Application is so much easier with it and it has the best staying power!
ReplyDeleteI'm using Jane Iredale mineral powder too but I usually use the Laura Mercier Foundation powder and I think I like that one better as it has a little more coverage and I don't use foundation.
To finish my daily look I curl my lashes, add Benefit's Coralista blush and Stila's Lip Stain in cherry!

I loveeee Jane Iredale makeup foundation but I didn't think it covers enough for me. I will try mixing MF with some moisturizer.
ReplyDeleteI should suggest you try out Tarte's Amazonian Clay Blush. These are great and last for a long time! And even E.L.F's Brow Kit. I swear by this and it's cheap!

This is really helpful! Thank you for sharing your favorites! I just started using Clinique's cream eyeliner after only using pencil eyeliners forever, and I love it! I'd love to see another post like this about products and tools you use on your hair and how. You always look so put together and I'd love to learn how to be more like that too! ;)

I like Clinique for my skin care routine. Bobbi Brown bronzer is my favorite and seems to always help me look tanned. I also swear by the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer as I don't really wear foundation or powder. Still looking for the perfect blush/lipstick so these seem like good ideas. Great blog!
