look book: patriot

July 5, 2012

Red, white and blue: three great colors that when paired together make for a patriotic statement! I went a little overboard with my outfit but that’s what holidays are for!
sweater Land's End, skirt ShopRuche.com {similar}, shoes Enzo Angiolini, clutch vintage

I hope you all had a fun and safe 4th of July yesterday! I had a really nice day with my family. Matthew and I sang patriotic songs on our way to their house, we dressed Ginger up in a cute red bandana, we bbq’d with my parents and brother, and my mom and I made a yummy nectarine crisp! We had so much fun we kind of forgot about fireworks, but Matthew and I ended up seeing them on our drive home last night.

Wishing today was Saturday, but at least it’s not Monday!

  15. There is nothing to be said abot overboard here. Holidays are there to wear the pieces you wouldn't normally wear together. It's more like perfection.
