look book: late summer uniform

August 23, 2012

I've found that I've developed a uniform during August, the hottest month of the year. A knotted top, skirt and boots are pretty much the easiest thing to wear. {This was taken a year ago tomorrow}. When it's so hot outside it's hard to care too much. All I can thing is, "Keep cool. Keep cool. It's almost fall!"
top J.Crew, skirt Urban Outfitters, purse Ruche, bracelets Threads, watch Target, necklace c/o Karen London
boots c/o Wanted Shoes

Today is our last day in Las Vegas and I can't wait to get back home. Four days, instead of the usual three, took it's toll. I'm so looking forward to sleeping in my bed and seeing my little Ginger. Matthew and I had overlapping business trips so he's gone until Saturday. So sad! Countdown to the weekend is on!

  14. I really like those boots. Are they comfortable? I'm looking for a less expensive alternative to the Acne Pistol boots and these might work.

    Thank you.
