There are certain items in my closet that I know I'll have for a long time. This denim jacket is one of them. I've had it for years, and I love bringing it out for a more casual look. This floral dress is so pretty and feminine with its peter pan collar and poufy skirt. It's especially perfect during the warmer months but I like how the jean jacket makes the look a little more transitional for fall.

I'm so excited to be a part of the Crossroads Style Council! Crossroads Trading Co. is my favorite place to shop for gently-used clothing. I've been buying and selling with them for years. Recycling fashion is definitely the way to go and I highly recommend it. I'm looking forward to collaborating with them this Fall and Winter!

<3 this idea…I usually just throw a cardigan or blazer on top of summery dresses moving into fall but the idea of a denim coat is fun! Wishing I hadn't gotten rid of mine a few years back!

ReplyDeletea denim jacket is such a staple. i'm from houston and every year for our rodeo (does it sound any more texas than that??) there are tons of country music concerts, so the uniform for girls is basically a floral summer dress, a denim jacket, and cowboy boots! haha
