On Monday Ruche launched a new feature "Wardrobe Remix: 15 items - 15 outfits." We were thinking that since the holidays just ended most people aren't going to be doing a whole lot of shopping; instead they'll be doing a lot of wardrobe remixing. It's always fun to make different combos with the things you have while adding in a few versatile pieces. I had so much fun styling this feature. I loved throwing in some spring pieces and showing how they can still be transitional. Since I was limited to 15 pieces I couldn't add tights but that's something I think you can easily add!

These are some of my favorite items from the feature:
I hope you enjoy it!

yep, this is the month of remixing for sure! these are great outfits - definitely got some solid inspiration! :)
ReplyDeletei love the final outfit, especially because it is translatable in the office. it is so hard ::so so hard:: to push but not cross the work-appropriate line, especially in more conservative fields. loving the first and third look also!

I loved this feature, Mara! It convinced me to buy a few of the pieces, but sadly the white blouse sold out before I could buy it. Your styling is beautiful always!

So I saw this on the Ruche blog and pinned it. Then was inspired to pull a few pieces from my own closet and create the perfect anchor outfits for spring. Thanks for the inspiration! It really helped.
ReplyDeleteI love this feature!! I needed some work-wear inspiration. I really like how you re-used the pieces but created outfits that look totally new and fresh. Love.
