I'm a big fan of pajamas {or pjs as Matthew and I like to call them!}, so when it veered on a fashion trend I was intrigued. Could you make a nighttime look work for daytime? This is kind of an experiment so I'd love to know what you think. Trouser pants in a pale pink + a slouchy silk shirt with navy piping. I had to dress it up a little bit--I really didn't want to look like I'm able to jump into bed, so I added some glitz with metallic heels, a pearl necklace, and a sparkly barrette! I have to say I was pretty comfortable all day long!

shirt Quiksilver, pants c/o Crowned Bird, shoes c/o ShoeMint, clutch vintage, belt J.Crew, hair pin ban.do
I hope you all had a great weekend! Matthew was down in San Diego celebrating his brother's birthday and having boy time and I babysat for my cutest little "nephew." Thanks Eden for sharing your baby with me!

I love it. I think you look really elegant. I tried the trend myself a few months ago with an actual PJ top. I was so nervous about it. Post here: http://fashionisevolution.blogspot.com/2012/10/what-i-wore-today-10192012-pajama-game.html
ReplyDeleteOn anyone else this would look sloppy, but you made it look so elegant.
