Waking up to see the snow coming down outside the Conrad New York was kind of unreal. I've never seen snow come down before and in my mind I've always romanticized it. The thought of snuggling by a fire with some hot coco and a good book sounded perfect. {Or in this case lounging in the comfy hotel robe, ordering room service and watching TV all day!} Actually going outside and dealing with it did not sound ideal. Yet, when in New York, you must put on your game {snow} face! I did and it was numb!

We had to make a stop at Jacques Torres and try the famous "Wicked" hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies!

Got to see my Lulu*s friends at their NYFW Style Studio!

There's that numb snow face! Loved this bow headband from ThreeBirdNest! Kept my ears super warm!

The second half of the trip was still as fun as the first. We just had to endure the elements a little bit! I loved meeting up with blog friends and meeting new ones. I seriously had the best time and I'm crossing my fingers I can go back next season!

mmm that brunch looks AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteYou should see the snow in canada! Hehe. Lovely photos. I love the one of you with the headband and lovely looking coat.
ReplyDeleteYou still look just adorable all bundled up! I have to admit, I'm glad so many bloggers got a taste of east coast winters... we get storms that size every few weeks in Canada and blogging through it is brutal! Spring can't come soon enough!!
ReplyDeleteyou look absolutely adorable in your winter gear! how fun that you got to experience a fresh snowfall for the first time...but i understand it is much more lovely when you're in a cozy winter cabin than braving it in the streets of NYC :)
