A LIFE & STYLE BLOG

flowers on stems

January 20, 2014

Life is so much more fun with printed pants. I might have said that before but it's true. I have started to accumulate quite the collection of printed bottoms, especially in a floral design--see exhibit A (2012) exhibit B (2013) and exhibit C (2013). I styled this pair with a scalloped collar button-up from Kiel James Patrick. I'm such a fan of this young US designer. Everything is made in the USA and he has such a strong attention to quality and detail.

top c/o Kiel James Patrick, jeans GAP, jacket Zara {old but similar here and here}, heels {similar splurge and steal}, purse Phillip Lim 3.1 Pashli Satchel {on a craazy sale for $359!}, sunglasses Karen Walker Number One Sunglasses {also here}, lipstick Bare Escentuals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick Be Free

This weekend my Mom and I used these Groupons that we've had for the past year for a massage and facial. It was SUCH a special treat! I can't even tell you how many blackheads were removed..so many. And side note: ouch! Saturday night we had a family pizza night at 800 Degrees in Westwood. I went to the Long Beach Flea Market on Sunday morning and in the afternoon I made pretzels for the first time. It was so much fun but I definitely need practice in rolling out the dough. You can see a before photo on Instagram for proof! How was your weekend? Are you ready for the week ahead?

  1. Great coat...I prefer coats with no collars...as that tends to be my one pet hate with coats....I never like their collars.this coat is great. x
