M Loves M spring and summer perfume favorites
One accessory I wear in every single post, but haven't talked about, is perfume! I am a huge perfume lover. I tend to get drawn towards certain scents and therefore connect a lot of feelings and memories to them as well. Perfume has been something I've appreciated since I was younger. I can remember my mom getting ready and spritzing on some of her Chanel No. 5. I remember my first big girl perfume of Michael Kors signature scent...it's still a favorite! I remember spending a summer in Germany and Spain wearing Amor Amor by Cacharel. My perfume collection is always growing because I become obsessed with certain ones, and it also makes a great gift. Matthew knows this! I currently have 16...sweet 16! Some scents I prefer to wear during the cooler months and others are warm-weather favorites so I thought I'd share some of my spring/summer favorites with you and tell you what I like most about them.

Tory Burch Tory Burch perfume, M Loves M

Christian Dior Miss Dior Cherie- Miss Dior Cherie and I have had a thing for years now. It's floral, slightly citrusy, with jasmine and patchouli. There's something sweet and romantic about it. It's one of my favorite daytime perfumes.

Jo Malone English Pear and Freesia- I have been obsessing over this scent for months and my sweet mother-in-law surprised me with it for my birthday. It's such a great scent for everyday wear. It's light but the smell of pear and freesia are still present. This is one of those perfumes that makes you constantly want to smell your arm! and it comes in candle form too. woo hoo!

Tory Burch Tory Burch- This scent is complex but in the best possible way. Tory Burch's first fragrance combines the floral notes of peony and tuberose with a crispness from grapefruit and an earthiness from vetiver. It's one of those scents that you just have to spray on to understand but it's a versatile choice for either daytime or evening.

Michael Kors Sexy Amber- I mentioned that the signature Michael Kors perfume is a favorite but this one has been my latest date night go-to. It smells like amber {obviously} as well as sandalwood and jasmine. So sexy sexy!

Do you have a favorite scent? For summertime or wintertime? Do you wear them by season? I'd love to hear!! There are so many great perfumes out there and I love hearing about people's favorites!

  2. I agree that Miss Dior is a really nice scent. At the moment I love Femme by Hugo Boss for the daytime. For the night time I use Hugo Deep Red also by Hugo Boss which is a very intensive and kinda sexy scent I think. I guess at the moment I'm very much into Hugo Boss perfumes :-)

  3. I went through a major perfume stage a few years ago and acquired quite the collection! Now I don't wear it religiously like I used to but I'm trying to get back in the habit. I actually just did a perfume review on my blog yesterday - I'm a new fan of Versace Yellow Diamond and Bvlgari Omnia Coral. It sounds like they're similarly light and fruity like these you're talking about, so maybe you would like them too! I really want to try Tory Burch now because I LOVE tuberose!

  5. Love this! What a great list! I'm a major fan of not only how a perfume smells but also how pretty the bottle is! Maybe that makes me a little shallow when it comes to buying perfume? Haha maybe not. ;)

  13. I love perfumes. Also, the fact that my favorite scent doesn't smell the same in a few months makes me look forward to getting a new fall perfume. Best thing ever! Will get the TB soon.

  17. I'm a huge fan of the classic Chloe, but I've already discovered Folle de Joie by Joie (discovered via Birchbox). I also carry a small roller of Tocca's Cleopatra (a bit spicier for every-day use!) I admit that I usually just go by my mood, rather than season, but I think every one is different :) GREAT post!

  21. I love your display of perfume! They all look so inviting!

I have just a couple of signature scents, but I have a hard time committing to a new one, because there's so many out there that just make me feel...nauseous.

But, having a few signature scents is key. I feel like I'm not 100% ready to go without a spritz of perfume. I actually find I almost refresh my perfume before I shoot for the blog, which is kind of ridiculous!
